• Celia Francis
    Chief Executive Officer

    Celia joined the Rated People Group as a non-executive director in September 2014 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Rated People Group in April 2015. Celia has nearly two decades of experience working in innovative mobile and internet companies. She has served as CEO of WeeWorld, a social gaming company, since 2005. During this time the company has seen significant growth in revenue, subscriptions and employees. Previously Celia was at T-Mobile from 2002 to 2006, originally as Head of Products, then as Executive Vice President of International Business Marketing. In 2001/2002, she worked at IDEO, a leading product design consultancy, and before that held various senior roles in marketing at Xtime, AltaVista Company and Compaq Computer Corporation. She graduated with a BA from Harvard University and has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

  • Tim Parsons
    Chief Financial Officer
    Tim Parsons was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Rated People in September 2014, having previously joined the company in April 2013 as Financial Controller. As CFO, Tim covers finance, HR and legal functions. He was previously Group Financial Controller of Adapt Group, an IT managed infrastructure provider. He has also held various roles within The Capita Group Plc, most significantly as Finance Director of the standalone subsidiary, Sector Treasury Services. Tim qualified as an ACA with Baker Tilly in London and holds a BA Hons in History, Geography and Politics from the University of Durham.
  • Tim Roe
    Chief Customer Officer

    Tim joined the Rated People Group in March 2014 and is responsible for the revenue lines for the business, managing the tradespeople customer base. His responsibilities include sales and business development, customer value management, service operations and risk and fraud. Prior to holding this role, Tim was Product Director, responsible for the marketing, design and development of all homeowner and tradesperson products. Tim has over twenty-two years’ experience in marketing and product development. Prior to joining the group, he spent nine years at American Express as Vice President of Business Development and latterly as Vice President and Head of Marketing GNS, EMEA. Prior to his time at American Express, Tim spent five years at Morgan Stanley in senior marketing and business development roles, and two years as Marketing Development Manager at TSB. Tim started his career in various marketing and product roles at VISA. Tim has a degree in Politics and History from the University of Western Australia.

  • Ruth Guthoff-Recknagel
    Chief Product Officer

    Ruth joined Rated People in September 2013 as a Product Owner and was promoted to Chief Product Officer in January 2015. Ruth has nearly two decades of experience in both the telecommunications and on-demand sectors, with an extensive and varied experience in the management of major/complex releases and deployment of IT systems, as well as establishing start-up billing systems, CRM, release management and product management. Ruth began her career consulting in Germany and the US for six years for various telecommunication start-ups, implementing and enabling business processes, as well as working to create and market own products. At Telekom Austria, Ruth was part of the release management team, planning and orchestrating the rollout of a fixed billing system. Working with the Ondemand Group as Technical project manager, Ruth led the implementation of new, on-demand video services. Ruth has worked extensively in Europe and the USA, with companies such as Samsung, Vodafone, Strateco, Eutelis and Mtel. Ruth holds a Diplom-Ökonomie Degree (MA Economics) from the Bergische Universität Wuppertal.

  • Adrienne Minster
    Chief Commercial Officer

    Adrienne joined the Rated People Group as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2015. In this capacity, she oversees strategic growth opportunities for the company. Prior to joining Rated People, Adrienne most recently served as Global Head of Online for hibu (Yell Group), launching and then running their eCommerce business across six markets. Previously Adrienne worked as a management consultant with Booz & Company where she helped to found their Digital Practice in the United States. Her clients included leading digital, telecommunications and healthcare companies. Adrienne began her career in South Africa where she led operations for a national HIV/AIDS treatment programme. She holds a BA from Harvard University in History & Science and an MBA from INSEAD.

  • Evan Morgan
    Chief Technology Officer

    Evan joined Rated People in June 2015 and is responsible for all areas of technology at Rated People including software development, architecture, infrastructure and operations. Evan has a track record of delivering successful, fast-to-market products. He was a part of the entrepreneurial management team to bring a division of Wowcher, now the UK’s second largest online vouchering website and part of Daily Mail and General Trust plc, to market in 2011. Previously Digital Development Director at regional newspaper business Local World Ltd, Evan has a history of leading large global development teams at Local People, The Daily Mail and The Evening Standard; creating systems capable of fulfilling rapid growth in both online traffic and revenue. In his role as CTO at Rated People, Evan will help the business to maintain its focus on product innovation through technological excellence, ensuring a seamless experience for tradespeople and consumer customers alike. Evan has over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, having originally started his career as a software developer.

  • Nihal Pekbeken
    Chief Marketing Officer

    Nihal joined Rated People in October 2015, and brings over 20 years’ global marketing and sales management experience to her role as CMO at Rated People. Maintaining Rated People’s focus on best-in-market customer proposition, whilst further boosting the Rated People’s strong brand recognition, Nihal will drive growth, bringing homeowners and tradespeople closer together. She joins the company following a series of high-profile CMO roles at global organisations including Ticketmaster and NBC Universal TV. She brings extensive experience in delivering integrated digital marketing campaigns to significantly and rapidly drive revenue, as well as experience in below and above the line marketing.
